About the Riverside Inn
The Riverside Inn is owned and operated by life long Cordovans Jack and Cherrie Stevenson. We are located on Eyak River at 6 1/4 mile Copper River Highway. We are located outside of town so we do recommend that you have a vehicle to get around. Come visit and stay in either our 2 bedroom apartment or our cabin located right on Eyak River.
This 2 bedroom one bath apartment includes a full kitchenette, private entrance, a dedicated parking spot, cable tv and wireless internet. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other has a full and a twin. Outside of the front entrance you will find a fire pit where you can sit and roast hot dogs and marshmallow along side the river as well as a barbecue that can be used to cook your daily catch.
Our cabin was remodeled in 2016 and includes a small kitchen, bathroom and a loft with a queen bed. The cabin has a small living area complete with cable tv and internet, a lazyboy queen sized sofa airbed, a cooktop, oven and microwave and a bathroom with a shower. You can enjoy great views of the Eyak River while your BBQ your catch on the covered porch.
At the Riverside Inn fishing in the Eyak River is right outside your front door! In your front yard you can cast your pole right off the dock. Late June thru July is best for sockeye salmon fishing, sockeye is fly fish only. You can fly fish just ½ mile down the road from the inn or a 2 minute skiff ride to the weir in the river. You will find a boat ramp down the road to launch a skiff you can tie them up by our front dock. Cordova also has great silver runs starting in August. At the Riverside Inn we also have a fish cleaning station out front and freezer space to store your catch while you’re here.
